NOTE ON SIZING: Please refer carefully to the SIZE & FIT guide below, and measure your dog prior to purchasing! Each brand has their own size range, which means that your dog could be a 'Small' in one brand, but a 'Large' in another. SIZE & FIT:

• Refer to the Sizing Chart (among product images)
• Measure around your dog’s chest (girth), directly behind the front legs. Make sure to get a snug measurement for a proper fit.
• If your dog falls between two sizes, size down. Buddy Belts are leather and will stretch slightly as they soften and form to your dog’s shape

ABOUT THE BRAND:

The Buddy Belt concept started in the summer of 1997. Each time Buddy, a miniature Dachshund, went walking, he would gag and cough. He needed something other than a neck collar. The harnesses available were difficult to use and did not always protect the neck. The search led to the creation of a harness that was easy to use and that reduced the stress on the neck.
